SXSW 2023

How Your Family Can Mitigate Climate Every Day

Description:

What can you do to mitigate climate? Plant superfood. Our speaker will guide a motivated group through steps to reduce 70% of carbon miles in our digital-age lives, care of nutrient dense crops. A cubic inch of healthy soil sequesters up to 3 billion tons of carbon annually. Thus regenerative farming is the #1 step one can take to mitigate climate. We are all soil farmers now & anyone can do it on an urban rooftop, in a suburban yard & on a farm. When a bear fleeing a wildfire killed most of his goats our speaker set out to find if one family can make a impact in humanity’s climate project. (Yes-Plus being out in a bee symphony-surrounded by those you love-is about the most fun you can have.) How do we reach the tipping point of awareness that We Are All Soil Farmers? A family at a time.
